- Viacom officially confirmed that Rock Band 3 will be coming out this holiday season. The game will be published by MTV Games and distributed by EA.
- EA announced a new fantasy RPG called Project Mercury for PS3 and Xbox 360, which is being developed by Big Huge Games, a subsidiary of 38 Studios. The game will be led by the designer of Elder Scrolls III Morrowind and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

- Microsoft will release a full lineup for the motion control system Project Natal at E3, it was confirmed by Mindy Mount, the CFO of Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division.

Sony has unvealed the PS3 motion controller PlayStation Move at GDC. The system will use the PlayStation Eye Camera and PlayStation Move to perform high precision real-time three dimentional tracking. The PlayStation Move will come with a sub-controller which is like the Nunchuk for Wii.
There is virtually no log and latency is the same as the DualShock 3 controller. Sony's SOCOM 4 will support PlayStation Move. Sony said virtually every major developer is making PlayStation Move games, including Activision, Ubisoft, EA, Disney, Sega, Konami, Namco Bandai, Square Enix, Koei Tecmo, Capcom, Crave and more.
The PlayStation Move starter kit will come with a game, controller and PlayStation Eye Camera, and the price will definitely lower than $100. Sony plans to release over 20 games that support the motion controller by the end of the fiscal year.
